About This Programme
Art Therapy & Art-Based Interventions is a 5-week live certification programme designed to introduce participants to the intersection of psychology, creative expression, and therapeutic practice. Through live experiential sessions, guided activities, discussion, and reflection, participants will explore how art and creative processes can support emotional expression, self-awareness, reflection, and psychological wellbeing. The course goes beyond simply creating art. It focuses on understanding the psychological foundations, scope, and ethical considerations of art-based approaches, while exploring how structured creative techniques can be thoughtfully incorporated into mental health, educational, and helping contexts. Participants will have opportunities to engage with different creative mediums, experience practical activities, and reflect on their own creative processes. No prior artistic experience is required. The programme is designed to make creative exploration accessible regardless of artistic background, with an emphasis on curiosity, reflection, and meaningful learning.
